Encouraging our youth to read and get active with Outdoor Adventure!

It’s time for Geronimo Adventure Park’s “Read for Adventure” program – a unique initiative that combines the joys of reading with the thrills of outdoor adventure!

At Geronimo, we believe in the importance of promoting a love of reading in children. Our Read for Adventure program was created to encourage children to read and to explore the great outdoors! Our goal is to team up with principals, teachers, librarians, parent organizations, and parents to encourage our youth to jump into reading, take some time to unplug from devices, and clip-in to adventure!

Program Requirements

The Read for Adventure Program is currently available to students in grades 2nd-8th. Participation will be capped at 25 schools, so it’s important to get your application in as soon as possible! Only one individual from each school should apply. That individual will be designated the “Program Coordinator” for the school. All communication regarding the program will go through that individual. Permission to participate must be obtained from a school administrator prior to registering for our program.

Schools will be accepted on a first come basis and submitting a registration form is not a guarantee that you will be accepted into the program. We will inform applicants of acceptance into the program as soon as possible after registration.

Registration must be completed by February 29, 2024.
