FAQs
Do we need to fill out a waiver and book online, or can we just show up at the park and do paperwork and purchase tickets there?
We highly encourage guests to fill out their waivers before coming to the park so they don’t have to spend valuable play time filling it out once they arrive!
We also encourage guests to book their adventures online ahead of time so that we can reserve their desired timeslot, since we do occasionally reach capacity. Booking ahead is ideal because it enables the Geronimo staff to have all the needed gear prepared and ready to go for your adventure! However, we certainly welcome walk-ins and will do our best to accommodate them as quickly as possible!
Is there a size or weight limit to zipline?
There is plenty to do at the park for adventurers of all ages, but the skytrails (ziplines) do have minimum and maximum requirements. The maximum weight for all skytrails is 265 lbs and the minimum weight is 45 lbs. If you can reach at least 66 inches high with your arms extended over your head, you can zipline independently on our Go Fly course. If you can’t quite reach 66 inches, but you can reach at least 58 inches, you can usually still participate with assistance from other members in your group, or you can hire one of our awesome private guides (with advanced notice) if you don’t have anyone to help. Feel free to give us a call and we are happy to explain this and the requirements for our other skytrails further!
Is there an age limit?
The minimum age to participate in the Skytrails is 6 years old, but there are plenty of other activities for younger adventurers. For the Skytrails (ziplines), it usually comes down to weight/size more so than age. See “Is there a size or weight limit to zipline?” FAQ section.
Some in our family are not ziplining—how do we handle? Do I have to purchase a grounds pass even if I’m not doing any of the activities?
For all non-zipping members in a group, a grounds pass (Go-Play) is required. The proceeds from this pass helps pay for the amenities that our non-zipping guests have access to, such as restrooms, walking trails, boardwalks, table/seating areas, and general grounds maintenance. There is a lot of work behind the scenes to keep our forest beautiful and accessible to everyone – we hope you enjoy it!
Go Play is automatically included for all Zipline Skytrail passes and does not need to be purchased separately. Click to see what activities are included in Go Play.
For all Geronimo activities, Click to see pricing and what’s included.
If your group is six or more, you may consider scheduling a Group-Party.
Do zipline courses include ground pass?
Yes! Whether you purchase a Zipline Courses Pass for one, two or three zipline courses, a grounds pass (Go Play) is included. For all Geronimo activities, please click to see pricing and what’s included.
What number of guests is considered a "group" and are there group rates?
Groups of ten or more can schedule a Group-Party. Click link to check out our types of Groups:
- Parties – for parties such as, birthday, bachelor/ette, reunions, and sports teams
- Team Building– for corporate groups and team building
- Non-Profit – for non-profit events such as, school, scouting, church, and youth religious

Do you offer military discounts?

If I only purchase one or two zipline courses, can I choose which ones to do?
Do I need to have an ID when I arrive?
Yes, a valid government issued ID must be presented at check-in to validate purchase.

What is your refund and cancellation policy?
We are happy to reschedule your reservation with advance notice. We plan and schedule staff based on reservations, so we ask that you please notify us as soon as possible so that we can provide the best service to other guests.
If a refund is required for groups under 6 participants, the reservation must be canceled at least 72 hours in advance.
Larger groups require cancellation at least a week in advance for a refund.
If weather prevents the activity the day of the event, we will work with you to reschedule. If you are unable to reschedule, then we will consider a refund depending on the circumstances. A common example is a group of guests that fly to Houston from out of town and make a reservation to come see us. In that case, we are happy to issue a full refund if the weather or their schedule does not permit rescheduling before departing back home.
